Weldingmen Offroad is the eCommerce sub-brand of Weldingmen, a structural-steel fabrication business based in Banksmeadow, Sydney. We design hybrid competition ute trays, canopies and accessories for tradies and 4WD tourers, available either as direct-buy stocked accessories or as modular builds via our enquiry-based quote flow.

Tradies, 4WDers and tourers. Often the same person doing all three. Our gear is designed to work just as hard on a Monday job site as it does on a Friday-night dirt-road run.

If your make and model has been sold in Australia since 2010, almost certainly yes. Our configurator captures the vehicle data we need before fabrication starts, so any compatibility issue gets flagged at quote time.

Trays start at 1,200kg dynamic payload and scale up depending on chassis spec, tie-down configuration and the load profile you'll actually carry. The exact payload figure appears on every quote and on the spec sheet.

Our standard trays are 3mm aluminium for the right strength-to-weight ratio for a working ute. We can quote steel for very specific use cases - mining, ultra-heavy load - but most customers don't need it.

Trade canopies are designed for everyday work loads - tools, ladders, materials. Touring canopies are spec'd for kit organisation - drawers, fridge slides, water tanks, jerry holders. We build both. The configurator walks you through which spec suits your use case.

Yes. All doors are lockable with automotive-grade latches and tamper-resistant hinges.

Yes. We use automotive-grade weather seal across every door and panel. The canopy is rated for the same kind of dust ingress and water spray that a 4WD will see on long-form outback trips.

Yes. Stocked sizes ship from Sydney within 2 business days. Out-of-stock lines show an estimated lead time on the product page.

The product page lists confirmed-fit vehicles. If your vehicle isn't on the list, contact us before ordering and we'll confirm compatibility.

Yes. Accessories are designed for self-install with basic tools. Fitting instructions ship with every product and live online.

Your build is fitted by a partner installer in your state. We coordinate the install with you and the installer once your build is finished.

Most tray-only installs take half a day. Tray + canopy fit-outs typically take a full day, sometimes two. The installer confirms the exact slot when they book you in.

Our partner network is growing. If we can't match you with a local installer at quote time, we'll discuss options including shipping to your closest auto-fab shop with our install spec sheet.

Free standard shipping on accessories orders over $250 to metro postcodes. Below that, flat rates apply by weight. Regional and WA/NT postcodes attract a freight surcharge calculated at checkout.

Stocked accessories ship within 2 business days. Standard couriers take 3-7 business days depending on postcode.

Yes, directly to your partner installer. We coordinate the freight and the install booking together.

3-year structural warranty on every tray and canopy. 12 months on accessories. Welds for the life of the vehicle.

30-day change-of-mind returns on accessories, provided the product is unused and in original packaging. Spec'd trays and canopies are non-returnable once production starts.

Photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at our cost.
