Why we built Weldingmen Offroad

The team is full of passionate four-wheel drivers, tradies, and tourers. The same people who fabricate the balustrade on a Bondi rooftop spend their weekends with their utes pointed somewhere over a horizon.

For years, the gear we wanted for our own rigs - trays that didn't flex, canopies that didn't squeak, roof racks engineered for the loads we actually carry - either didn't exist at the right spec, or cost twice what it should.

So we put the parent brand's fab discipline behind our own offroad gear. Weldingmen Offroad. Designed in Australia. Built to conquer.

Two paths

Two ways to get our gear on your ute.

  1. Path 1 — Shop the range. Roof racks, sliding kitchens, pantries, gun and fishing boxes, jerry holders, tool holders, LPG storage, spare wheel mounts. All in stock, all ship from Sydney inside 2 business days.
  2. Path 2 — Build a competition tray or modular canopy. Hybrid steel-and-aluminium build, spec'd to your vehicle and load profile, fitted by a partner installer in your state. Written quote in your inbox inside one business day.

How we work

  1. Enquire. Tell us about your ute and what you need. Configurator on each tray or canopy product page.
  2. Spec. We come back inside one business day with a written quote, build spec, and lead-time band.
  3. Build. Once you confirm and put a deposit down, your build goes into the queue. Roughly 8-12 weeks from order to ready-to-fit.
  4. Fit. Your build ships to a partner installer in your state. We stay across it from first call to last bolt.
